“We adore You, Lord Jesus Christ, here and in all Your churches in the whole world, and we bless You, because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.”

Testament of St. Francis

In our daily celebration of the Holy Eucharist our community life reaches its climax and is renewed again and again.  Flowing from this fountain of salvation, we have the privilege of daily praying before the exposed Blessed Sacrament in our Eucharistic Adoration Chapel in Alton, Illinois.

On the monstrance is inscribed the words, “Veni Si Amas.”  This invitation to “Come if you Love” brings Sisters and community members together in adoration of our Lord.

“I beg you to show the greatest possible reverence and honor for the most holy Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ through Whom all things, whether on the earth or in the heavens, have been brought to peace and reconciled with Almighty God” (cf. Col.1:20).

Letter to A General Chapter
by St. Francis

Two Sisters in the Motherhouse in Germany pray day and night before the Blessed Sacrament.  United with them, we ask for God’s blessing upon the Church, our Congregation, and all mankind.

Each day of the year, one convent in our worldwide Congregation celebrates a Eucharistic Day.  On this day, they make intercession for the intentions of the world-wide Church and the Community, spending time in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.  These celebrations are also meant to foster charity and unity among our Sisters throughout the Congregation.
