Pope Benedict XVI's Apostolic Visit to the United States
Serving the Vicar of Christ

The Sisters look on as Pope Benedict XVI leaves the Apostolic Nunciature.

The days of the Holy Father's Visit to the United States were blessed ones for our Community.  Nine of our Sisters were present at the Apostolic Nunciature in Washington, D.C. where Pope Benedict XVI stayed during his visit to Washington, D.C.  They were able to meet and to serve the Roman Pontiff in various ways and are so grateful for the opportunity to live our Franicscan charism of rebuilding the Church especially through our love and respect for the clergy.

Other Sisters were able to travel with various groups to the various gatherings with the Holy Father in New York.  They have shared with us the joy they have experienced through his presence and his words. 
We are truly, "saved by hope!"
